The UPS guy at the library where I work, threw his keys at me one day and I caught them, now he won't stop throwing things at me.  He must have received the impression that I have Matrix skills or something, when really, my first catch was just a fluke.  I have not caught anything for months, but that does nothing to detour him from continuing to throw things.  So to sum up - If you don't want people to get the false impression that you are good at catching things, don't catch anything the first time they throw something at you.
